Keycap Care

The keycaps are made with polymer clay & even though they are tough for daily use, they might chip if you handle them with force.

Avoid using alcohol swab on resin coated keycaps.

Clean the keycap occasionally using a soft cloth or cotton tip.

Mounting a new artisan keycap may be easy, but what happens if you need to remove them?

Before we introduce two methods to remove the keycaps, using a wired keycap puller would be a good tool to have by your side.

We recommend getting a wired keycap puller as they are less likely to scratch or chip off the sides of your keycaps. Avoid using plastic keycap puller as it can scratch the sides because it slides over the sides of the keycap until the plastic hook snaps under the keycap.

There are two ways that we recommend to remove them. Let's get started!

Method 1: Remove surrounding keycaps before removing the artisan keycap by hand

By removing surrounding keycaps, it will allow sufficient space for your fingers to pull out the artisan keycap carefully (see picture below). You may also use a wired keycap puller to pull out the surrounding keycaps. However, extra caution is needed to avoid damaging the sides of the artisan keycap.

Method 2: Get a wired keycap puller and gently insert & pull out the keycap

Carefully insert the wired keycap puller and pull it up straight.

We hope that you'll find this two approaches useful for you! Do give us a shout out on Instagram at Infinity & Caty or Caty if you found this useful.

Jewellery Care

Our jewellery are delicately handcrafted from polymer clay and/or resin. No two pairs are exactly the same, which is why they deserve your love and care.

Dos:

Please avoid direct contact with water, perfume, body lotions, hairspray and other chemicals. Apply any perfume, body lotion or creams and let it dry before you put on your jewellery. Remove all jewellery when showering and swimming.

Store them in a dry box/container to protect them from scratches or direct sunlight.

Clean the jewellery occasionally using a soft spectacle cloth and avoid using chemicals or alcohol swabs to wipe the surfaces.

Materials Used

Polymer Clay is a non-toxic plastic-based clay that is light and durable. It cures to be slightly flexible which means that it is unlikely to break if dropped. However, please be careful of the fine details that might protrude from your jewellery/keychain.

Stainless Steel is used in our silver/gold chains, earrings, bracelets and necklaces.
